I have been hearing this song on the radio, and I really like it.  Then, yesterday I saw the video on CMT and I could not stop the tears from flowing!!!  Thinking of Jake and Tyler when they were little babies, now they are getting almost too big to carry.  Seeing this boy in the video grow up just made me so sad.  Holy cow, I am going to be a wreck when they go off to college, get married, have their own babies.  Watch this video and see for yourself:  (get some kleenex ready too!)

End of January

Daniel got a new camera flash and has been testing it out on the boys.

And, Jake finally saved up enough money in gift cards to buy the Lego fireboat he has had his eyes on.  We bought it late last night and told him he could start on it this morning.  Bad idea!  He was up at 4:30 a.m. wanting to put that thing together!  (Note to self---DON'T do that again!!!)  Notice the sleep deprived look in their eyes???

Happy Birthday to me and Eric!

We had a fun day on Saturday celebrating my shared birthday with my little brother Eric.  Mom made 2 delicious cakes and we spent the afternoon at the zoo.  Yea for the warmer weather!!!

We started out the morning at home just watching basketball on TV.  Or maybe it was football---I really have no idea what they were watching!  Tyler loves to eat chips and salsa with Daniel.

Uncle Eric brought the boys his old Darth Vadar voice changing mask.  They had a lot of fun with that!  Jake is pretending to be scared of Darth Vadar.

Then, after a yummy lunch at Las Palapas, we headed for the zoo.

12 year Anniversary

Daniel and I celebrated our 12 year Anniversary on Sunday Dec. 27.  We got a hotel room on the Riverwalk at the Omni La Mansion del Rio.  The boys went with us so they could see the pretty Christmas lights too.
