Mom and Dad came to visit and see the boys play basketball.  I took this picture while Mom was reading to the boys.  They are so silly.....pretending to be shocked at the pictures in the Star Wars book!

Then, on President's Day, the boys were out of school, so I took them to the zoo

Then, our friends Parker and Piper arrived!  They had a great time playing together

Valentine's Day 2012

Oh boy, did I mess up!  I thought Jake's Valentine party was at 12:00, and it was really at 11:15.  I was about to leave to go to the party when I got a call from the school nurse.  Jake was in her office, complaining of a stomach ache, and he was crying and left his party it was hurting him so bad.  So, I thought, you silly lady, his party isn't until 12:00, and I told her I was on my way.  I got there and asked Jake what was going on.  He said his stomach hurt really bad.  I asked him when it started, and he said during his party.  I said, no your party doesn't start until 12:00, and he said, no it started at 11:15!!!  Then, I remembered seeing 11:15 on all my calendars!  I went and told Tyler I was going to miss his party because Jake was sick.  Drove all the way home, asked Jake how he felt and he said better.  SO, we drove back to school, so I could go to Tyler's party.  And, Jake sat outside Tyler's classroom and ate his lunch and played his DS.  Poor, poor Jake.  I keep picturing him looking at the door waiting on me and I never showed up : (

Early Release

The boys had early release days this week, so we had some friends over to play to help pass the time!

It is very hard to get Jake and Tyler to both smile for a picture...it was impossible to get the 4 of these guys happy and looking at the camera at the same time!  This one really was the best one!
